Day 4

Today was our Lake Placid tour.  Roger decided to join us for this tour. We took 9N to Ticonderoga.  We saw very nice views of the Adirondacks.  The morning clouds burned off and it was sunny and hot.  We continued on 22 to CR-7.  We took that to CR-70 to CR-6.  CR-6 is also called Tracey Rd.  This road had a lot of nice twisties.  Everyone enjoyed this road.  We then went on 9 to 73.  Roger then took the lead.  He then took us on CR-7 to 86.  We took that to 431. We passed the North Pole and planned on going to Whiteface Mountain.  They wanted to charge $9.00 per bike so we decided it wasn't worth it and back tracked a bit to 73 and took that into Lake Placid.  It was a very scenic route.

We decided to get a quick bite to eat and Roger continued to lead.  We continued on 86 to CR-33 to 3 to 30.  The roads were really scenic. We continued on 28N and took that to 28.  We took it to 9 and worked our way back to the motel.  We then got a few supplies and had another barbeque.  It was a long day but a lot of fun.

We made it an early evening since we decided to leave early the next day to try to beat the heat on the way home.
